Perth - Kalbarri
We depart Perth and head north on our way to Nambung National Park and the fascinating Pinnacles Desert. After exploring these unique formations we continue our journey northwards and out to some local sand dunes for an adrenaline rush, sand boarding down these huge slopes. Back onboard the bus we continue our journey up the coast through Geraldton and the surrounding county-side and into Kalbarri township and our overnight accommodation.

Kalbarri - Shark Bay
After an early rise we take a short drive to Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. Here we take time to view Natures Window and discover the wonders of the Z-Bend Gorge. At Z-Bend Gorge it is an exhilarating 150 metre descent into the heart of the gorge – well worth the effort – where we have time to explore and hopefully a swim in the tranquil fresh water pools. For the adventurous there is even an opportunity to try your hand at abseiling (optional extra). Departing the gorge before the heat kicks in, make our way toward Monkey Mia, stopping at the beautiful Shell Beach and then onto Shark Bay for our overnight stop.

Shark Bay - Riverside
After a short drive across the Peron Peninsula we make our way down to the beach and the world famous Monkey Mia dolphins – it’s a unique experience and there are some fantastic photo opportunities. Here you can also enjoy a sail boat cruise to view more magnificent creatures of the sea of this vast area, or take an Aboriginal Cultural Walk to learn about the indigineous heritage of this area (optional extras). After a morning of interacting with Dolphins or just lazing about in the beauty of Monkey Mia, it’s time to begin our return journey south, and on to our Farmstay at Riverside Sanctuary.

Riverside - Perth
This morning we make the short journey to the Hutt River Province. Be enthralled listening to Prince Leonard’s story about how and why he seceded from Australia. For those who wish to add another stamp to your passport bring yours along! We depart Hutt River and begin our journey south towards Perth. We stop in at the small coastal town of Dongara for lunch by the water before heading back to Perth where we farewell our new friends. |

Bring: Sturdy walking shoes (ankle high), hat & sunscreen, towel & toiletries, swimming gear, warm clothing in winter, water bottles, torch, insect repellent, camera & film, pillow, sleeping bag (can be purchased for $50*)
