The founders of Planet Perth Tours spent three years travelling around Australia and the world on a budget and found there was a need for friendly, informative good value tours that showed off this spectacular state in all its raw beauty. So in 1997 they drew on their experience of travelling and working in the tourism industry and began operating tours for travellers, backpackers and students who wanted to see as much of Western Australia as possible. From half-days to 21-day tours from Perth to Darwin, the aim is to make sure everyone has a fantastic time on fun and informative trips designed to show the magnificent contrasts of our beautiful state at its best.

The business is proud to be owned by the TUI Group of companies and has expanded considerably from one bus to a team of 100+ employees a purpose built depot and a modern fleet of 55 air-conditioned buses and 4WD vehicles.
